FOTOWALL LOCATION HOSTEL is the first and the only gallery in the traditional Petersburg porch in the Central district. It is the second gallery of THE FOTOWALL chain, exhibiting art in unusual places, and the first side gallery of Loſt Project ETAGI. The address is Admiralteisky avenue, 8 (right between The Hermitage, St. Isaacs Cathedral and Admiralteistvo), it's in the same building as LOCATION HOSTEL is.
The activity of FOTOWALL galleries is aimed to the promotion and development of modern art processes in photography and actualization of intercultural and international dialogue in the art sphere.
Exhibition grounds in different parts of the city, in regions and countries are given to russian and foreign artists who work in all kinds of genres and directions regardless their professional status and fame: to reporters, fashion photographers, lomographers, ads photographers using various technologies of photography production – snapshot cameras, professional equipment and existing out of dogmas in photography inerpretation, to those who are not afraid of experiments and search, capable to visual jokes and provacations.
